Although this short essay doesn’t address Mad Max: Fury Road in any detail, it does touch upon an interesting topic that would have been a great way to approach that movie. Johnson here gives a very succinct overview of the evolution of CGI and what that technological evolution has meant for the mise-en-scène of action movies.
